Political Science and Sociology/Psychology will renew their faculty rivalry on Thursday afternoon as Politicos FC takes on the combined SOC/PSY side in a highly anticipated FATSSSA Derby, with both teams entering the encounter on the back of impressive victories.
The clash, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the SUB Mini Pitch, comes after both sides opened their Survival’s Cup campaigns with wins over Biochemistry.
POS Politicos FC, having secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Biochemistry, will face the Sociology/Psychology side bouncing off an even more convincing 3-0 triumph over the same opposition.
The results have set the stage for an intriguing contest, with both sides scoring three goals in their opening fixtures and demonstrating attacking intent.
For Politicos FC, Thursday’s encounter provides an opportunity to build on its winning start and establish itself as the leading force in the faculty competition. The SOC/PSY side, however, will enter the derby with its own confidence boosted by a clean sheet victory.
