The Students’ Union (SU) Congress scheduled to hold today, May 17, has been postponed indefinitely due to the failure to meet the required quorum.
Announcing the postponement to the disappointed audience, SU President Covenant Oladele stated, “We only have about 250 students in attendance, and for this Congress to hold, a minimum of 500 is required.“We tried our best to mobilize students, but since we’re unable to reach quorum, we have no other option but to postpone the Congress,” he added.
Oladele concluded by noting that further information regarding a new date for the Congress will be communicated in due course.
