On Sunday, December 29 2024 a virtual senate sitting washeld by the National Association of Political Science Students, University of Ibadan chapter to inaugurate the members of the electoral committee for the session.
The meeting started at 7pm using the Google Meet app. Pursuant to Article 21, Section 1 of the Constitution, inauguration of the electoral committee members took place, following the reading of the minutes from the previous sitting.
Five students were inaugurated as members of the electoral committee. The members include:
1. Abayomi Oluwaseyi (400level) chairman
2. Bankole Oluwatomisin Theresa (400level)
3. Kayode Ruth Temiloluwa (300-level) returning officer
4. Ojewuyi Adigun Timothy (200-level)
5. Ogubere Ramadiyat Ahuohiza(100-level)
It’s believed the members of the electoral committee were selected based on merit and integrity. The electoral body is expected to discharge its duties with utmost objectivity, integrity and impartiality.
