Inauguration of Executives: NAPSS Handing over Ceremony

On the 23rd of August the National Association of Political Science Students, NAPSS successfully inaugurated new executives ahead of the commencement of a new session.
Recall, that the executives were elected into various offices via the election held on the 1st of June, 2023.
Reacting to the inauguration, the newly inaugurated NAPSS President, Johnson Victor has this to say: “I’m so honoured to have been elected as the President of the department and more glad that the handing over came up today .I am very excited that I will also contribute to the growth and success of the association. After the handover ceremony, I’ll work closely with the outgoing President to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and insights too.”
Similarly, in a chat with NAPSS newly inaugurated Vice President, Favour Etunwoke, he expressed gratitude and thanked NAPSSites for giving him the opportunity to serve.
Furthermore, he pledged to create a welcoming and transformative experience for new generation of students. Mr Etunwoke also promised NAPSSites mentoring programs, networking events, and workshops where members can unlock their potential. He stated that his goal is for every student to feel supported, and empowered, and that they are part of something greater – because they are.
The VP also opined his commitment to expanding NAPSS’ reach across campuses nationwide. “Every aspiring leader should have access to the professional development and community we provide. Through partnerships and digital content, we will become a truly inclusive network preparing youth for the future.”
To round up his message to NAPSSites, he stated; “while this new undertaking is exciting, I know the path ahead will not always be easy. Together with resilience, collaboration and care for one another, we will overcome every challenge. The board, volunteers and I are ready to put in the work to take NAPSS to new heights. I want to again thank you for entrusting me as your Vice President. I take this duty seriously and will give 100% to seeing our community flourish. Let us go forward with courage to create lasting positive change. Thank you!”
The team Rejuvenation has now officially commenced its tenure. NAPSSites have shown their support by granting them legitimacy. Fingers remain crossed on whether they will keep to their respective manifestoes and serve NAPSSites accordingly.
