The University of Ibadan management has announced the timeline for the physical clearance of newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise is scheduled to run from Monday, 23 March to Friday, 27 March, 2026.
The announcement, circulated through an official memo, highlighted the documents required for the clearance process. These include: FORM B003 duly filled (available on the UI website), Admission Letter (Institutional Copy) printed in colour, JAMB Result Slip, O’Level Result Slip, A’Level (Cambridge), NCE, OND, HND, or First Degree as applicable, two (2) reference letters from reputable personalities (on letter-headed paper) addressed to the Registrar, University of Ibadan, Birth Certificate, two (2) passport photographs, as well as a file and tags.
Additionally, HND and university degree graduates are required to present their NYSC Certificate or Exemption Certificate, while Direct Entry candidates are to provide their JAMB Acknowledgment Slip. Concerned students are also expected to come with both the originals and photocopies of their documents.
The memo emphasized the importance of the physical clearance exercise, noting that Letters of Certification of Admission will be issued to successfully cleared students during the process.
