POSSPRESS member, Ojo Victoria Ayoolajesu, has on Saturday, February 15th, been elected as the 37th Assistant General Secretary (AGS) of the umbrella body for all press organization in the University of Ibadan, Union of Campus Journalists
Victoria, a 100-level student of the department of the of Political Science , who is currently serving as a member of the News desk secured the victory with a total of 60 votes, against 4 void votes.
Reacting to the victory, Victoria expressed her excitement and affirmed her commitment in ensuring not to disappoint campus journalists
Other members of the Union’s executives elected in the elections include: Ayeye Toluwalope – Vice-President (Editorial), Ogunleye Moboluwarin – Vice-President (Administration), Faith Adediran – General Secretary, Shodipe Blessing Boluwatife –Financial Secretary, Siyanbola Victor – PRO II, Olanshile Ogunrinu- President.
The handover ceremony for the newly elected executives is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 1st at the Union’s Dinner and Handover Ceremony.
