The National Association of Political Science department had her long-anticipated freshmen orientation and welcome service on Thursday 10th of November, 2022 in room 156 at the faculty which started around noon. In attendance were lecturers from the department including the Head of Department, Professor Irene Pogoson, Professor Aiyede, Dr. Idowu Johnson, and Dr. Stephen Lafenwa who all addressed the freshmen.
Many questions bothering the minds of the freshmen were addressed, questions ranging from registration of courses, how to balance social and academic activities, how to stay healthy, and how to address examination questions, among others. Consequently, freshmen were introduced to different academic and non-academic societies like the Literary and Debating Club (L and D), and Press Club (POS Press) as well as sports, among others.
Subsequently, the spelling bee program took place on Friday, 11th of November, 2022 at the same venue in the faculty.
