Miss Anu: I’m a 200 level student of the department of political science.I’m an easy going person, I don’t do things that’s beyond my capacity.
I love music, socializing with people, and trying out new things…
Interviewer:What office are you vying for?
Miss Anu: The office of the Social Director
Interviewer: Based on your assertion earlier, can you state the reason you think this office is not ‘beyond your capacity’ ?
Miss Anu: I’m currently a part of the department and Faculty’s Social committee, and I’ve been able to take part in the planning processes of social events in the faculty and in the department, also as someone that socializes with people and relates well, the Office of social director is not beyond what I can handle
Interviewer: Okay. You are the current Face of FATSSSA, right?
Miss Anu: Yes, I’m Miss Fatsssa
Interviewer: Nice. Did that contributed to your interest in the office of the social director?
Miss Anu: Yes it did. I’d say being the Face of Fatsssa brought out the Social part of me
and it also made me realize that I can do anything I set my mind to do.
Interviewer: Nice. So..why did you opt for the departmental post and not FATSSSA post?
Miss Anu: Because I want to serve in the department, I’ve served and I’m still serving in the faculty
Interviewer: What motivates you to run for the office ?
Miss Anu: Thought about it and the answer I can provide is “Me”. My love for socializing and relating with people, love for the department. I believe I can do it so I’m going for it.
Interviewer: Okay
Do you know the constitutional duties attached to your office?
Miss Anu: Yes I do
Interviewer: Could you state them?
Miss Anu : The social director:
1. shall be the secretary of the NAPSS Annual Week organizing committee.
2. shall be responsible for arranging venues for the Association’s activities and function under the directives of the President
3. shall be responsible for the social activities of the association.

This is contained in Article 9, section 6 of the Association’s constitution.
Interviewer: Alright. Do you have any new ideas you plan to input if you are elected?
Miss Anu:Yes i do and I’m excited about it, it’s all written in my Manifesto.
Interviewer: Can you speak briefly on one idea?
Miss Anu: Yeah sure. I plan to introduce a costume day, this actually is my favorite. This costume day will allow us (Napssites) to step out of our normal every day appearance and experiment with different styles, or character .
It offers a chance to let loose, have fun, and temporarily take on a different identity.
Interviewer:You must have observed the activities of this Political post . Right?
Miss Anu: Yes.
Interviewer: Good. What do you think is the biggest challenge facing the office of the social director?
Miss Anu: Well I think the major challenge is “Lack of turnout” of Napssites to social events
Interviewer: Do you have any plans to dissuade the feeling of social apathy or in your words ‘lack of turnout’ among NAPSSites?
Miss Anu: Yes I do
Interviewer: What plans?
Miss Anu: It’s all part of my manifesto
Interviewer: Okay, how do you handle criticism?
Miss Anu: I take note of what I’m being criticized on and i work on it as long as the critiques are well-founded, reasonable, and justified.
Interviewer: Do you have any message(s) for NAPSSites?
Miss Anu: Dear Napssites, I am thrilled to announce that we have some exciting upcoming events lined up. And y’all are the most important ingredients to make this events a reality.
Together, let’s create memorable experiences and strengthen the bonds within our department.
Interviewer: …And it’s a wrap !
