Unforgettable Moments From The Mavin Campus Tour: Did you miss out?

Well, that’s a question you’ll have to answer yourself. The UI tour is one out of the campus tour series, comprising UNIPORT, UNICAL, UI, UNILAG and UNN. The UI Mavins campus tour was held on the 12th of October 2023 at the SUB Park. The attendance of the record label’s Fantastic Four – Crayon, Bayanni, Boy Spyce, and Magixx – is being marked. Each artist is recognized as a star well-known for their hit tracks. Crayon’s trendy chorus of Ngozi ft. Ayra Star, Boy Spyce’s sweet melodious Folake, Bayanni’s sensational beat of Tatata that will make anybody move their waist, and Magixx’s lover boy energy track, Love Doesn’t Cost a Dime, are some of their popular songs. Well, being able to witness these artists’ performances live means you might not have to pay a dime, alternatively, you could decide to pay a sum of 2000 Naira or 3000 Naira.

You might wonder what type of payment plan this is, without further ado, let’s dive into it. The event attendance ticket was earlier sold at the price of 2000 Naira for a single ticket. It was later amended to 3000 Naira for a group of 3. You might wonder why. Well, the best reasons are known to them. However, in the course of the event, people were allowed to enter freely without actually having to pay a dime! Isn’t that enough to whisper you missed out in your ears? But you might not think so upon hearing what’s written in the next paragraph.

It was quite a disappointment to some that the event ended early. Many expected the event to span till later hours such as 10 pm or later; unfortunately, the event was announced to end at past 9 and everyone had to disintegrate to their various place of residence. However, this decision might seem irrational, it was likely made to follow the school’s regulation that states that female hostels are too close for entry between 10 pm and 10:30 pm, depending on each Hall of residence.

 So, if you still maintain an indifferent attitude, note that this type of event constitutes the social space of UI entertainment life.
