The University of Ibadan (UI), Nigeria’s premier university, has released the cut-off marks for candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The cut-off marks serve as a benchmark for admitting candidates who sat the competitive UI Post-UTME examination.
Candidates who registered for and sat the UI Post-UTME examination are advised to check whether they meet the cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
The released figures show that cut-off marks vary across programmes, departments, and admission categories, including Merit, Catchment, and Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS).
Several programmes recorded a minimum cut-off mark of 50.00. However, some competitive programmes attracted higher requirements, including Law (71), MBBS (80), and Pharmacy (70.375).
Political Science recorded the highest cut-off mark in the Faculty of the Social Sciences, at 51.625.
Candidates are advised to check the cut-off mark applicable to their chosen programme and admission category.
Prospective students are also advised to rely on official University of Ibadan announcements for further updates regarding the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
