The super cup is set to begin today, Friday, 6th of December 2024 at the old football pitch, SUB. The department of Political Science will start her campaign in the competition with a match against Physiology on Saturday, 7th of December 2024 at 4pm.
The Super Cup which can also be refereed to as the “game of champions” brings together top-performing departments from each faculty. Each team participating in the competition earned their spots by winning their faculty’s Dean’s Cup.
Political Science is one of the top contenders, boasting an impressive track record after securing their faculty’s Dean’s Cup. However, they’re looking to redeem themselves after a disappointing outing in the previous edition.
In the last Super Cup, Political Science faced an early exit in the group stage, courtesy of a loss to KHE. A solitary goal from Oscar in the opening minutes proved to be the decisive factor, as Political Science failed to equalize.
With a chance at redemption, will Political Science bounce back stronger this time around or suffer similar fate like they did in the previous edition?
