The Faculty Press of the Social Sciences (FATSSSA Press) has launched her inaugural essay competition themed “AI AND GOVERNANCE: IS AI A BLESSING OR A CURSE TO GOOD GOVERNANCE? The essay competition was announced on the 3rd of December, 2024 by the Editor-in-Chief of FATSSSA Press, University of Ibadan.
According to the official release signed by FATSSSA Press E-in-C, Emmanuel Akinwale, the essay competition is open to all the students in the Faculty of the Social Sciences, including the students from the Distant Learning Centre (DLC).
The duration for the submission of entries spans from the 4th of December to 25th of December, 2024.
The appropriated font style to be used is Times New Roman with size 12 font size, line spacing of 1.5 and the Harvard referencing style. Every participant must attach their school ID card alongside their entry which must have between 1000 to 1200 word count to fatsssapress@gmail.com.
The purpose of the Essay competition is to provide an opportunity for students to exhibit their writing skills.
Furthermore, cash prizes of 70,000, 50,000 and 30,000 nairawould be awarded to participants who secure the 1st, 2nd and 3rdplaces respectively after the essays have been examined thoroughly.
