In a memo released by the Council of Hall Chairpersons today, 17th of July, the Council has asserted that they stand with the students union of the University of Ibadan on the protest resolution.
The Council of Hall Chairpersons has called out the management on their decision concerning reduction and rationing of power supply in the Halls of Residence. In reference to the memo , ‘’This move will cause undue hardship and disruption to academic and extracurricular activities ‘’
The Council demands swift resolve of this matter and a more empathetic approach on the issue of power supply . In addition, the Council has affirmed their support for the Students Union on the Protest Resolution .
