Political Science (POS) have secured qualification to the next round of the Seals Cup after edging Physics 1–0 in a tightly contested encounter.
The decisive moment came in the 54th minute when Bright found the breakthrough, calmly finishing to hand POS the lead after a much-improved second-half display.
POS had struggled to impose themselves in the first half, with Physics matching them stride for stride and limiting clear-cut chances. But the restart saw a different POS side, sharper, more aggressive, and determined to take control.
Their persistence paid off through Bright’s goal, which ultimately proved enough to separate both teams at full time.
With back-to-back wins now secured, POS have officially booked their place in the knockout stage. Attention now turns to their final group game against Food Technology, where they will look to maintain momentum and possibly top the group.
