Interview With Miss Oyeleke Aderinsola Praise Aspirant For the Office of the Vice President

Posspress: Good evening, I am Idris Adetola a correspondent of POSSPRESS, this interview is aimed to discuss your aspirations for the post of the Vice President, kindly introduce yourself.

Miss Oyeleke: Good evening, I am Oyeleke Aderinsola Praise, a 200-level student of Political Science vying for the position of Vice President of the department.

Posspress: What motivated you to pick up the form?

Miss Oyeleke: Firstly  I would say it’s the motive  to always make a positive impact on people and the desire to represent the voice of people. 

I think it is much more a thing of desire and not compel 

Posspress: What are the major responsibilities of a Vice President?

Miss Oyeleke: According to the NAPSS constitution, the main responsibility of the Vice President is to deputise in the absence of the president. 

The Vice President is the chairman of the association’s week and organising committee 

And then the Vice President is to perform any other functions delegated by the president or the executive council

Posspress:Can you tell us one of your plans for NAPSSITES?

Miss Oyeleke:One of my plans for NAPSSITES is to imbibe the culture of inclusivity and collaboration to ensure the growth of NAPSSITES

Posspress:How do you plan to ensure transparency and accountability in the course of your duty if elected? 

Miss Oyeleke:To ensure transparency and accountability in the course of my duty if elected, I will employ the effective use of communication because I believe it is in the best position to ensure transparency.

Posspress:Do you think you have the qualities and capabilities to match the office of the Vice President?

Miss Oyeleke:Yes, I do, and one of it is the ability to build relationships with people, and that makes my accessibility a better one.

Posspress: Can you describe your leadership role and how it reflects with the VP role?

Miss Oyeleke: I’ve had the opportunity to serve and to lead in a few places  one of the is a youth Empowerment Club (LYEC) it is to foster the growth of the present day youth and I would bring the same energy that supports the growth of the club to my duty if elected as the Vice president .

Posspress:Thank you for participating in the interview is there any information you would like to provide?

Miss Oyeleke:Progress happens when we work together if elected I would need the support of NAPSSITES for the growth of our great department.
