By Adeniji Benjamin

PRESS: Good morning. I’m Adeniji Benjamin, a member of the POSS press. This interview is aimed to discuss your political ambition for the office of the assistant general secretary. Kindly introduce yourself.

MR ENIOLA :My name is Alao Jeremy Eniola, a 100 level of political science. I am from Ogun state and I am running for the post of the Assistant General Secretary

PRESS: What motivates you to contest for the office Sir?

MR ENIOLA: This is an ambition driven with the opium of change. After my integration into the system, I discovered some loopholes which can be corrected. Running for this post, I see it as a leverage to bring in new strategies in order to combat them.P

PRESS: Contesting for a leadership position, what leadership experience have you acquired?

MR ENIOLA: Even as a 100 level student, my leadership skill and selfless service can’t be overemphasized. Last semester, I single handedly held a lecture both virtual and physical for students to assist them in GST 111 in which I coordinated so very well. During the holiday, I work with some sets of individuals to help the post-utme students on how to navigate school and advising them on the course to do, for those that are transferred. And also this semester, I created a group for French tutorial for the social sciences in order to sharpen their knowledge in the discipline. All these can be attested to by my friends and course mates.

PRESS: How do you plan to work with other executives if elected?

MR ENIOLA: This is my constitutional duty which must not lag. I would bring in my philosophies and merge it with theirs, in order to be well solidified. To exponentially bring about a good administration, then, some set of people must come together in law, ideas, and in philosophy. Because I believe that if “one man try to change the same, he may be changed by it”. So because of this, I believe and embrace teamwork and togetherness because that is the threshold of every administration.

PRESS: Aside constitutional duties, what are your other plans as AGS

MR ENIOLA: To promote effective communication amongst students using the Fresher as a mechanism, full representation, visibility, creating of awareness, and integrating the Freshers into the system. Doing all these would help to stabilise and enhance growth in the department.

PRESS: Why do you think you should be voted as AGS of the department?

MR ENIOLA: My credentials, aims, and objectives have said it all. If I am voted, things will be done. I have the energy, and capability which could help me navigate this office. Well, I pray God will help me.

PRESS: In just three words can you tell us what makes you qualify for the office Sir?

MR ENIOLA: Accountability, Credibility, Capability.
