On Monday, 21 November 2022 the ASUU chapter, University of Ibadan met with student leaders of the university to discuss critical issues that affect the education sector in Nigeria. The main issue discussed was the underfunding of universities by the Federal government.
It was mutually agreed that actions are needed and on that note, there would be a peaceful protest next week Monday, 28th November 2022 and all students are encouraged to lend a voice.
The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan President, Ibukunoluwa Dada also lent a voice by encouraging all campus journalists to be present either as pressmen reporting for their LPO or as concerned students/Nigerians.
